Open in 1862, Birmingham Botanic Gardens in Birmingham, England is home to more than 7,000 plant species, including desert and tropical plants.
See Claude Monet’s famous garden, including his oft-painted lily pond, at Giverny, Normandy, France. Monet spent most of his later years cultivating his beloved garden.
